Mrs Santa Claus Facts..and Fictions!!

Mrs Santa Claus was not present in the original fables of Saint Nicholas, where the charitable gift bearing bishop was most definitely not a married man…!  Her persona came into existence in popular folklore in the early 1800′s with the transition of Saint Nicholas to Sinterklaas and progressively she became more often known as Mother Christmas and eventually Mrs Santa Claus. With the advent of  recent Hollywood movies such as “The Santa Clause” Trilogy, “Mrs Santa Claus” with Angela Lansbury and more lately “Fred Claus” she has become very well established  in her own right…  heres a little video movie clip for fun!
